Jackson Hole.
Stay Wild.
In our fifth year, we added a branch to our STAY WILD world. With the timing of the pandemic, a lot of new-to-the-wild travelers were treating this gem like Disney World. We needed to remind folks to first take care of the land so that we can STAY WILD.
We learned that going off trail was becoming an increasing problem. The impact of making your own trail results in an ecosystem that could take up to 30 years to recover.
Tread on the Trail
We created shoes with the tread on the trail message (aka sole-vertising) to help folks at the point of offense — on the trail.
Leave it as it is
With increasing foot traffic during the pandemic, Jackson Hole was over-run with newcomers. We needed to remind travelers to practice good habits. In 1903, Teddy Roosevelt went on a tour with a stop in Teton County, making an impassioned sustainability speech asking people to leave it as it as for future generations. Over a century later, his message still rings true. We were able to record his great great grandson making the same plea for us.
